Focusing on finding families for children in Poland who have Down Syndrome
Olivia is a young girl who has Down Syndrome. She is fortunate because she has parents who love and care for her.
Down syndrome is a common genetic variation which usually causes delay in physical, intellectual and language development. Many adults with Down Syndrome hold jobs, live independently, graduate from college, and enjoy life.
There are children in Poland with Down Syndrome who do not have parents that can care for them and love them. These children are often viewed as children with no ability to learn or be functional members of society. But these children deserve and need the love of a family. This component of our Poland program focuses on finding families capable of adopting a child with down syndrome.
Characteristics of children with Down Syndrome available:
Ages : 12 months (possibly younger) and up
Sex : female and male children
Process and fees: see Poland Process
Olivia hopes that there are families in the US who could adopt these children and give them a loving family like she has.
If you are interested in adopting a child with Down syndrome please contact Susan Lichtenthal at 716-631-9212.
Some families, who have adopted a child with Down Syndrome, talk about the incredible joy their child has brought them.
